TGIF!* Close out the week on a high note with a laid‑back Friday at MMFA as we toast the nearing finale of our America250 exhibition series. We are extending the fun to 8:30 PM, so come exactly as you are—dressed up, dressed down, or somewhere in between—for this special edition of Art After Five. Rest your mind, build new connections, and explore the galleries with us.

This event is free and open to the public.

Craft a poem at the magnetic Poetry Wall, spread some joy with a postcard in the Positivity Post Office, and keep the fun going with our Exhibition Scavenger Hunt—follow the clues, uncover surprises, and snag a prize!

*TGIF! -“Thank God (or goodness), it’s Friday!” is a slang acronym used to express relief, excitement, or happiness that the workweek is over and the weekend is beginning.

Youth Studio

Designed for ages 5 to 14

Give your young artists a creative evening while you enjoy Art After 5! Children ages 5 through 14 are invited to explore self-portraiture and identity through art inspired by the museum’s collection. Guided by MMFA educators, kids will experiment with different materials to create both a collaborative mural and their own portrait to take home.
