About this event
About the Event
When a loved one returns home from incarceration, the transition affects the entire family. Questions about expectations, communication, boundaries, employment, housing, supervision, and rebuilding trust can quickly become overwhelming. The Family Reentry Workshop was created to help families navigate these challenges together.
Hosted by On The Way Home Reentry, this free, one-day workshop provides practical education, real-world strategies, and connections to trusted community resources that support successful reunification. Participants will hear from professionals and individuals with lived experience, engage in guided activities, and leave with tools they can begin using immediately.
Whether your loved one is preparing for release or has recently returned home, this workshop will help you better understand the reentry process, strengthen family relationships, and develop a plan for moving forward with confidence.
Participants will receive a Family Reentry Workbook, resource materials, lunch, and opportunities to connect with organizations that provide ongoing support. Our goal is simple: to help families feel informed, prepared, and empowered—because successful reentry begins with a strong support system, and no one should have to navigate it alone.
