- ➤ Montgomery is accepting art poster submissions for America 250 to celebrate the city's past and future. Local artists can submit entries online or drop them off at the Department of Cultural Affairs (200 Coosa Street) from Feb. 3 through March 22. WSFA 12

- ➤ On Monday, education officials met with lawmakers in Montgomery to discuss fiscal year 2027 budget needs amid rising healthcare costs and deferred maintenance in schools and colleges. Gov. - ➤ The annual Friends of Catch-A-Dream Celebrity Bass Classic will return for its fifth year in Pike Road on Saturday, Feb. 21, as local anglers and celebrities will gather to compete in the fishing event. WSFA 12
