  • Grammy-nominated R&B singer Angie Stone, known for hits like 'Wish I Didn't Miss You,' passed away at 63 after her vehicle was involved in an accident near Montgomery.  WAKA 8
  • A 2-alarm fire in Montgomery's Deer Creek subdivision heavily damaged a home, with no casualties reported but one 35-year-old man treated for smoke inhalation.  WAKA 8
  • Interstate 65 in Montgomery County was partially blocked for four hours due to a wreck involving a commercial vehicle, with lanes reopened by 11 a.m.  WSFA 12
