GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Ivey signed a law that lets the state's education department issue temporary teaching certificates to veterans starting Oct. 1 if they meet four key requirements. - ➤ A new report from the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) showed that 2024 data indicated Alabama hospitals outperformed national benchmarks in three infection categories, including catheter-associated urinary tract infections and colon surgery infections.
