- ➤ The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office hosted its annual Easter egg hunt Saturday at Auburn University at Montgomery where nearly 3,000 eggs were hidden for kids and families. Children enjoyed collecting prize baskets and meeting the Easter Bunny (golden tickets brought extra surprises). WAKA 8
- ➤ Residents in the Arrowhead neighborhood held an emergency meeting after a Friday night party at an Airbnb rental raised concerns about noise, traffic and public safety. Councilor Ed Grimes said he will present proposals for new short-term rental rules, such as licensing changes and zoning updates, at the city council meeting Tuesday, April 7th. WSFA 12
- ➤ Over 1,000 runners joined Move Montgomery's annual 5K Bunny Hop at Whitewater Rapids Saturday morning, showcasing local fitness and community spirit. WSFA 12
- ➤ YMCA of Montgomery now manages the Montgomery Miracle League and launched its spring baseball season last Saturday at Doug Singleton Miracle League Field with a ribbon cutting + a first pitch. The league will run games each Saturday through May 23 for players with disabilities. WAKA 8

- ➤ Millbrook Theatre held Pancakes with Peter Cottontail Saturday morning to mark the start of the holiday weekend, offering families a festive breakfast at the community theatre in Montgomery. WSFA 12
