CRIME NEWS
- ➤ An April 16 murder near West South Boulevard left four children (ages 8 to 14) without their mother as their father is in jail, and the children now stay in a hotel with their grandparents while the family seeks a home to prevent foster care. WSFA 12
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Starting this fall, Alabama high schools will offer a workforce diploma that lets students take three career technical education courses instead of two math and two science classes, giving them a path to learn skills for immediate jobs.
