- ➤ Residents gathered at Lido Green in Hampstead Saturday for the 4th annual Crawfish Boil, where neighbors enjoyed spicy crawfish, corn and potatoes and listened to live music from the T.U.B. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A bill to limit dog-chaining passed a committee on April 2 and now awaits a full House vote before it can move to the Senate. If approved, the law—sponsored by state Rep. Phillip Ensler—will require secure enclosures and proper care for dogs kept outside, with an effective date of Oct. 1. AL.com
