Montgomery police responded to a shooting call on May 2 at around 10:14 p.m. on the 900 block of West South Boulevard—near Davenport Drive just inside the I-65 bypass—and found a man who was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Police identified 18-year-old Montgomery resident Jaydon Lewis as the victim fatally shot on West South Boulevard Thursday night at 10:14 p.m.+ he was taken to the hospital where medics pronounced him dead and authorities are investigating the shooting.
