Alabama’s annual Tomato Sandwich Lunch brought more than 500 local farmers, lawmakers & food lovers together on Wednesday at the Agriculture Department’s headquarters in Montgomery to celebrate peak growing season with fresh produce and local products.
Local weekend events offer popcorn, peaches — and plenty of fun from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28.

Redshirt junior kicker Conor Talty faces competition as transfer Lorcan Quinn joins Alabama football ahead of SEC Media Days on July 20—Talty will use preseason camp to improve his field goal accuracy while continuing kickoff duties, with his role depending on his performance.
The Battlegrounds Foundation in partnership with Montgomery Police Department is hosting a paintball tournament on June 27.
