Family and friends in Montgomery recently hosted a fundraiser for a 2-year-old battling brain cancer by selling plate lunches, homemade desserts, drinks, and offering a car wash to raise money for treatment.
The Montgomery Dream Center is set to open soon to serve as a hub for storing and distributing community resources for local residents.
During Serve Day, Church of the Highlands unveiled its new Dream Center at the Montgomery campus to serve community needs by distributing food, household items & supplies.
The center will work with local ministries to distribute donations delivered by several 18-wheelers today.
Church of the Highlands hosted Serve Day in Montgomery today — volunteers provided showers, a warm meal, haircuts and laundry services to support those in need.
