Hundreds of families gathered Saturday at Selma’s Riverfront Amphitheater for the second Dallas County City-Wide Back-to-School Bash, where children received backpacks, school supplies, shoes, uniforms and Bibles.
Local schools, churches and businesses joined efforts to ease back-to-school costs.
🎓 Education
Montgomery Public Schools held its annual Back-to-School Bash to help students get ready for the new school year + ensuring they had essential resources for learning.
Montgomery Public School System’s new Cybersecurity Intelligence Magnet Academy will open on the Park Crossing High School campus in less than two weeks for over 140 ninth and tenth graders.
The school offers hands-on tech training and a 4 by 4 block schedule to jumpstart real-world career skills.
