Police responded at 5:51 p.m. Friday to a shooting on Woodley Road in Montgomery—21-year-old Jaricho Hinkle was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead while another man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Montgomery police are investigating two reports of property damage near Zelda Road in the 3100 block of Malone Drive after gunfire was reported on August 10 at 4:35 a.m. and again at 2:55 p.m.—no injuries were reported.

Montgomery police arrested Atquis Smith (30) for felony attempting to elude after he led officers on a chase that started on The Meadows and ended when his vehicle crashed on McInnis Road Monday night.
