On Monday, September 1, a juvenile male sustained life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound in a car accident at the intersection of April Street and Bowman Street when fire medics arrived (1:57 a.m.) and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Early Saturday morning, police found a victim shot dead at about 2:16 a.m. on the 3500 block of Carter Hill Road—details such as the victim’s identity remain unreleased as the investigation continues.

Alabama star receiver Ryan Williams suffered a concussion in the second half of a game against Florida State on Saturday—he had five catches for 30 yards.
