Montgomery police confirmed four shootings occurred on Labor Day in the Capital City — one of which was fatal — and they are investigating the incidents.

Montgomery police are searching for 39 year old Kenyada Lavar Johnson—wanted for first degree robbery and described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 195 lbs with brown eyes and black hair—after learning he likely remains in the area among family and friends.

Montgomery Public Schools partnered with State Farm to host the Run With the Senses fundraiser race — a race that will provide sensory items for students.

The event will help improve access to essential supports for the school community.

City of Montgomery announced the new SEED Academy—an initiative designed to train emerging real estate developers through a week-long, hands-on program set to launch this fall.

Applications opened on September 2 and will close on September 19.
