Montgomery organizations are coming together to organize a Stop the Violence convoy Saturday in response to 52 homicides and 46 assaults reported this year—participants will ride from the Court Square Fountain at 12 p.m. to deliver speeches at the Capitol steps by 2 p.m.

City councilwomen Julie Beard and Marche Johnson will host a community expo at the Chisolm Community Center (next to the Montgomery Zoo) on October 18th.

Montgomery Zoo is hosting ZooBrews and Food Festival, where local brewers + food vendors will offer samples in a family-friendly setting.
