Good morning, Montgomery. Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 19th of October.

COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Community groups in Montgomery held a 'Stop the Violence' convoy to show that there is an alternative to deadly violence. They drove through neighborhoods with high crime rates where residents welcomed their message — the groups will meet on November 1 to deliver holiday turkeys to at-risk areas.  WSFA 12
  • Hundreds of people joined the nationwide 'No Kings' protest in downtown Montgomery (meeting at Riverfront Park on Commerce Street) on Saturday and marched to the Court Square fountain.
