On Saturday, Montgomery Academy held its 10th annual free STEAMfest in the Perry Hill Road area where hundreds of children enjoyed hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and math activities — including a new tethered hot air balloon ride that quickly became a crowd favorite.

Week 13 of high school football featured local teams playing on Thursday and Friday night with matchups including Montgomery Catholic vs. Shelby County—Montgomery fans cheered as the Fever Scoreboard showcased game highlights.
