- ➤ Ford will recall nearly 273,000 vehicles due to a software issue that may let them roll away when in park. The recall affects F-150 Lightning trucks from 2022 to 2026, Mustang Mach-E vehicles from 2024 to 2026, and Maverick pickups from 2025 to 2026, and letters will be sent to owners Feb. 2, 2026. WAKA 8
- ➤ Walmart is recalling a popular Ozark trail product after reports of a serious burn hazard. Customers in Montgomery who bought the item should stop using it immediately and follow Walmart's safety instructions. AL.com

- ➤ Autauga Prattville Public Library received a $50,000 T-Mobile Hometown Grant to convert a donated trailer into a community space for literacy and learning — Mayor Bill Gillespie said the project is part of broader plans that include about $300,000 to upgrade the library. WSFA 12
