- ➤ WSFA 12 partners with Meals-on-Wheels Montgomery to host a charity telethon on March 19 that will raise funds and awareness for homebound seniors in the area. WSFA 12

- ➤ The King's Canvas hosted a fundraising block party on Sunday in Montgomery that showcased art, music and community spirit. The event brought local residents together to enjoy creative displays. WSFA 12

- ➤ Montgomery Public Schools’ coach Meryles Gilbert has spent eight years teaching PE at Southlawn Elementary and follows his father’s legacy of more than 25 years in physical education — he uses sports to build strong bonds with his students. WSFA 12

- ➤ A bill filed in the House would allow families using CHOOSE Act funds to sue athletic associations if they deny student eligibility solely because of program participation (the measure would ease obtaining court orders for temporary sports participation while disputes continue). - ➤ Robert 'Bob' Landers, 88, with early onset dementia, was found safe in Florida after leaving his Lowndes County home Saturday morning to visit a driving range; he last contacted his family at 2 a.m. Sunday while feeling unwell and confused. WSFA 12
