- ➤ Nonprofits in the River Region were awarded over $186,000 in food and medical grants by the Central Alabama Community Foundation. The funds will support essential services for community members in need. WSFA 12
- ➤ The 29th annual Kevin Turner Prattville YMCA Golf Tournament took place Monday in Prattville with former Alabama kicker Michael Proctor and current Auburn kicker Alex McPherson serving as guest hosts. - ➤ Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that all K-12 military base schools will make the Presidential Fitness Test mandatory across facilities including Maxwell Elementary (at Maxwell Air Force Base) and Ellis D.
