New and gently used coats collected by WSFA 12 News, Bryan Jewelry and Jim Massey’s Cleaners are being delivered Thursday morning to the Salvation Army’s Montgomery office to help those in need.

The campaign has been sponsored by WSFA 12 News since 2012 and will keep local residents warm.

Holley Amburn, a Pike Road Intermediate School student, launched her Holley Jolly Stocking Project yesterday to collect donations for 100 food + hygiene bags for Friendship Mission as its shelters reached capacity; she and her mother gathered thoughtfully chosen supplies for those in need.
